Product Introduction

A1008 cold-rolled steel plate is a low-carbon structural steel produced in accordance with the American ASTM A1008 standard. Its chemical composition is characterized by low carbon (carbon content ≤0.10%) and appropriate manganese (0.30-0.60%). At the same time, the sulfur (S) and phosphorus (P) content (≤0.04%) are strictly controlled to ensure the purity of the material and processing stability. Through the cold rolling process, the surface finish and dimensional accuracy of the steel plate are significantly improved. The thickness range is usually 0.15-3.0mm, and the width can reach 2000mm, which is suitable for a variety of specifications.

A1008 steel plate has excellent mechanical properties, yield strength of 140-275 MPa, tensile strength of 270-410 MPa, elongation after fracture ≥30%, and has both high strength and high ductility. It is suitable for complex forming processes such as deep drawing and bending. Its low carbon characteristics give it good weldability and cold bending performance. At the same time, an anti-rust oil film can be added to the surface to further improve corrosion resistance. This material is widely used in automobile manufacturing (such as body panels, structural parts), home appliance industry (refrigerator, washing machine shells) and construction field (light steel structures, ventilation ducts). Its good weldability, formability and corrosion resistance make it an important basic material in modern industry.
